Hascon is Hasbro's premier fan and family event. More kid friendly than other cons and with many more activities in each brand statement, it's a great opportunity to experience your favorite brands like Star Wars, My Little Pony and Nerf in new ways. Planning for the first ever Hascon began in late 2016. As the brand designer for Hanazuki it was my responsibility to take the lead on visual and experiential design for our brand statement. This involved preparing artwork, planning budgets, logistics and working cross-disciplinarily to put together this unique space. Hasbro staff, myself included, also staffed the entire event. The passion and understanding of our brands gave each guest we interacted with a rich and memorable experience.
As sole branding designer for Hasbro's newest franchise brand, Hanazuki, I designed the logo, set color palette, typography, created brand style guidelines and designed and directed packaging. I also art directed illustration and worked alongside the animation and writing team to build the world of Hanazuki (all episodes available on YouTube).
Hanazuki - 2017 New York Toy Fair
As the branding designer for Hanazuki it was my responsibility and great pleasure to design and direct the production of the showcase at Hasbro's New York Toy Fair 2017 exhibition.
Nerf - 2016 Branding Refresh
As part of the Nerf branding team from 2014 - 2016 I worked to develop a visual refresh. The goals of the project were to bring Nerf to a more contemporary place inspired by action movies and video games and to draw and maintain consistencies across Nerf's many segments such as Modulus, Doomlands, N-Strike, Mega and Rival.
Nerf - 2015 New York Toy Fair
As a member of the Nerf branding team I developed the concept of the Nerf vault HQ, created artwork and production guides for the 2015 New York Toy Fair display.
